Who We Are
Logo.dev is operated by Simple Casual, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, United States. We provide a logo retrieval API for developers.

What Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. This data is necessary to provide and manage your access to the Services.
Billing Information
Payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses) is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Usage Data
When you or your end users make API requests, we collect IP addresses (a technical necessity of HTTPS), the domain or URL queried, and request timestamps. This data is used for service delivery, usage metering, and security monitoring.
Website Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics (a privacy-focused, EU-hosted analytics service) and PostHog for understanding how our website and product are used. These providers help us analyze page visits, product usage, and related event data. Fathom does not use cookies on our marketing site.
Legal Bases for Processing
Under the GDPR, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: Processing your account information and API usage data is necessary to deliver the Services you have contracted for.
- Legitimate interest: We process data for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and product improvement. These interests do not override your data protection rights.
- Legal obligation: We may process data to comply with applicable laws, such as tax and accounting requirements.

Data Retention

- Account data (name, email, organization): retained for the duration of your account and a reasonable period after deletion to fulfill legal obligations.
- Billing records: retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
Data Sharing and Sub-processors
We share personal data with third-party service providers ("sub-processors") only as necessary to deliver the Services. Each sub-processor is bound by data protection obligations. Our current sub-processor notice is available on our Sub-processors page.
We do not sell personal data.
International Data Transfers
Logo.dev is based in the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your personal data is transferred to the United States. These transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as described in our Data Processing Agreement.
Your Rights
If you are in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under applicable data protection law:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@logo.dev. We may require verification of your identity before processing your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may charge a reasonable fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Right to Lodge a Complaint

Cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our website.
Email Communications
You can unsubscribe from our marketing email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send or by contacting us. You will still receive service-related emails necessary for the administration and use of your account.
Data Processing Agreement
For customers subject to the GDPR or applicable data protection law, our Data Processing Agreement is available as a separate agreement. It applies only if the parties execute it or otherwise expressly agree to it in writing, and it governs our processing of personal data on your behalf when in effect.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, with exclusive jurisdiction in Delaware courts and without regard to its conflicts of law rules.
