Show company logos in Google Sheets with the IMAGE function and a Logo.dev CDN URL. You need no add-on or extension.

Get your API keys

Your dashboard has a publishable key for the Logo.dev CDN and a secret key for the Logo.dev API. Every plan includes both.

Add a logo to a cell

Put a CDN URL in IMAGE, and replace LOGO_DEV_PUBLISHABLE_KEY with your publishable key:
If column A holds brand names instead of domains, wrap the cell in ENCODEURL() so spaces and special characters survive. See name lookup. To change the size, format, or theme, add CDN parameters to the URL.

Fill a whole column

ARRAYFORMULA applies one formula to every row. It skips empty cells, and it fills new rows as you add domains to column A:

Fit the logo to the cell

The second argument of IMAGE sets the sizing mode: For a sharp logo in mode 4, request a larger image than the cell, such as size=256 for a 64 by 64 cell:

Replace Clearbit logo formulas

If your spreadsheet used the Clearbit Logo API (logo.clearbit.com), which has shut down, change the base URL to img.logo.dev and add your token:
To change every formula at once, use Find and replace to change logo.clearbit.com to img.logo.dev. Then add ?token=LOGO_DEV_PUBLISHABLE_KEY after the domain. The Clearbit migration guide covers the rest.

FAQs

Yes. Anyone who opens the sheet sees the logos, including people without a Logo.dev account. The key in the formula authenticates each request.
Google fetches IMAGE URLs from its own servers and sends no Referer header, so a key with domain restrictions rejects the request. Turn off domain restrictions on the key that your sheets use.
Not directly. Google Sheets does not link images. Put a HYPERLINK formula to the company’s website in the next column.
