Exchange suffixes
A symbol with no suffix resolves against US exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ, NYSE American, Cboe, OTC, and Pink Sheets. For a listing on another exchange, add a dot and the exchange shortcode:
Common exchange codes also work as suffixes. For example,
AZN.LSE resolves like AZN.L, and SAP.XETRA resolves like SAP.DE. Some markets have several exchanges, such as Germany. In those markets, if the symbol is not listed on the exchange you name, the CDN also checks the market’s other exchanges.
